License to cut

I know I will be losing my hair sometime in the next couple of months so mom convinced me to come with her today for a hair cut. I never would have gone for such a drastic change in hairstyles but I figured since it would be falling out anyway, I may as well just go for it. If it turned out to be an epic failure I could always just shave it off. I have to say, I really don’t mind the results!

All in all, between mom, my aunt, and myself, it took a good two hours at the hair salon. Frank texted me and asked me if I would be coming home any time soon and told me he would be having hotdogs for supper. I told him to enjoy his hotdogs because we would be staying out a while longer. Our 2 hour trip to the hair salon turned into a full blown ladies night (or day, in this case). We decided to head to Skipper Jack’s for supper – if you happen to like fish and chips, this place is amazing. After supper aunt Joanne had a serious hankering for some sugar so we took a drive over to Cake Box, which was unfortunately closed. Still craving sugar, we decided to go to St Hubert’s for desert. This is how we like to “live it up” – two restaurants in one night! I don’t even want to look at food for the next 24 hours.

I also got a call from the surgeon’s secretary today. I have a consult with him on Tuesday a couple hours after my bone marrow biopsy. Should make for an interesting day.

I hope you all enjoy your weekend. I’ll be keeping myself busy, no doubt, willing the hands on the clock to move faster. Who’d have ever thought that Mondays would become something to look forward to?

Ive already said it but I don’t mind saying it again. I love this haircut on you! You’re looking more like you’re lesbian big sister now 😉 lol. Anywhoo. Just thought that maybe you should put a before picture up for those who don’t know how long it was before.
